This is the first time that I got members under me in a program. I learned a lot from their FREE tutorial on how to use Facebook, Twitter and SocialOomph.
Now I understand what Social Media Marketing means.
What did I do? Well, I signed up with Freen and Powerful and headed to FREE Method. They have really good videos on what to do.
I really did everything step by step. I watched the videos on how to use Facebook to get your lead. It's around only 10 to 15 mins. After watching, I just did the steps they indicated. Then I watched the Twitter video and did the steps they said. The best video I watched was how to use SocialOomph's Direct Message feature. Wow, now I understand the relationship between the three sites.
In a nutshell, You make a cool and personal profile that has only one link to your business in your profile page. You head to your Twitter account and follow people (less than a 100) would be good, or else twitter will ban you. 40% of the people you follow will also follow you. After doing this, you go directly to your SocialOomph's account and add Twitter and create your Direct Message to those who will follow you in Twitter. You can say: " Hi Thanks for following me in Twitter. I also have a facebook account http:facebook/profile if you like my profile please add me." or something like that. It's a simple version, I really advice you to watch the videos your self. Now maybe only a handful of people will go to your Facebook and add you. Once they do, you can thank them and then share your link with them: " Thanks for adding me, it's great to connect with people who are interested in online marketing. Please check my site at http://mysite."
Well, I did that for a week. Not religouesly (is this the correct spelling?) Anyway, I did that for three days within the week and only for 2 hours each day. Guess what? I got 3 members with my lazy effort. Just imagine if I didn't laze around? It would be much more!
