How I stumbled on WAHD.ws (Work At Home Dad website)
It's been a while since I made a post here. I've been busy with http://wahd.ws my Work At Home Dad website.
I've been editing it and improving on it for 2 or 3 weeks now. Thanks to http://tiny.cc/freenpowerful I was introduced to the GDI business. It made perfect sense. In my journey towards financial freedom, I encountered and tried several ways of making money online. The tested way has always been affiliate marketing and or online MLM. Both are good avenues to create money online. Both also recommends a member to make their own website in order to be successful. You need to brand yourself and the best way to do that is to create your own website.
That means you need to register a domain name. What is a domain name? That's a question that most beginners ask and online marketers forget to remember. Simply put it's the name of your website. Yahoo.com, Google.com, Youtube.com are the best examples of a domain name. You can think of it as a title for your land (in Real Estate).
The second requirement for getting your own website is hosting. What's that? Think of it as the house you build on your land. If you don't have a house on your titled land, you can't live on it. That's the same for a website, if you do not have hosting, you wont see any of your text, photos and videos when you click on Enter after typing in your website address. For example if Google.com does not have hosting, when you hit on the Enter key, you won't see anything, well maybe a message from the domain registrar saying the website is not up yet.
What's a domain registrar? It's the company/organization that sells domain names. Some examples are Website.ws, Godaddy.com and Endlessland.com.
Ok, so let's review. In order to make money online you need to create a website so you can brand yourself and market your product. Your product can be anything you see in an Affiliate network such as Clickbank. Your product can be any MLM program like Infinity Downline.
When you choose a product from Clickbank and you become an affiliate, you do not need to pay any fees in joining. It is free. It may look small at first glance but when you think about it, the potential is so big.
Just imagine how many online marketers are out there joining affiliate programs or online MLMs everyday. There are literally hundreds of thousands new people that sign up everyday. That means hundreds and thousands of online marketing beginners will need to create their website in order to market their product. That's where we come in.
